How apps use resources, sleep-on-idle on the Free plan, and staying running on Starter and above.
OneBit Deploy runs your app within the resources of your plan. How idle apps behave depends on whether you're on the Free plan or a paid plan.
Sleep on idle (Free plan)
Apps on the Free plan sleep after 15 minutes without traffic and wake automatically on the first request. That first request waits while the app starts; everything after it is served normally. Managed databases and WordPress never sleep.
This keeps the Free plan genuinely free to run while still serving real traffic.
Staying running (Starter and above)
On Starter, Hobby and Enterprise, apps stay running — they never sleep on idle — so every request is served without a cold start. Starter (₦10,000/month) is the cheapest always-on plan.
Resource limits
Each plan has memory, CPU and storage limits. Within them, you set an app's size in its Settings → What it runs on → Resources. If your app needs more headroom, move to a higher plan on Plan & billing.
