What each plan includes

  • Free — side projects and demos: deploy from GitHub or ZIP, automatic SSL, custom domains, live logs and metrics. Free-plan apps sleep after 15 minutes idle and wake on the first request.
  • Starter — always-on for one project: everything in Free, and your apps are always on (no sleeping when idle), with 1 vCPU burstable and 10 GB storage — twice the CPU and storage of Free. Custom domains with SSL are included, as on every plan. No managed databases or WordPress.
  • Hobby — teams, databases, WordPress: everything in Starter, plus managed databases, WordPress (Beta), 20 apps, 4 GB memory, 2 vCPU burstable, 20 GB storage, 5 seats and priority email support.
  • Enterprise — bigger workloads, two replicas: everything in Hobby with three times the memory and storage, 6 vCPU burstable, 10 seats and two replicas per app for high availability.

Capacity and fairness

Resources are shared fairly across the platform. If your app needs more memory or CPU than your plan allows, move to a higher plan on Plan & billing. Use How it is doing, on each app's Overview, to see how close you are to your limits.
